DT SWISS 240s OS 12mm CONVERSION KIT
CAMPESTRAL DT Swiss 240s OS End Caps, combined with the extremely light weight CAMPESTRAL 12-15-TA Adapter, allow the use of a 20mm x 110mm or 15mm x 100mm DT Swiss 240 hub with a 12mm x 100mm thru axle Road/CX/Gravel fork.
A specific known compatibility issue is the DT Swiss 240s 20x110mm Thru Axle front hub (MPN: H240BDEXR32SA1788S), which converts to standard 100mm width in 15mm or QR configurations only, with no existing 12mm end cap available.
The end caps for DT Swiss 15x100mm Thru Axle hubs have an OD of 21mm at the fork interface end, which most 12mm forks will not accommodate.

Available as a complete kit including CAMPESTRAL 12-15-TA Adapter, or as end caps only for use with an existing axle adapter.
CAMPESTRAL DT SWISS 240s END CAPS
- Compatible DT Swiss Part Number: HWGXXX00S4470S.
- Thread-in end caps convert 240s 20x110mm front hub to 15x100mm.
- Fits DT Swiss 240s 20x110mm Thru Axle Hubs #H240BDEXR32SA1788S.
- (Same compatibility as DT # HWYXXX00S2477S, without knurled insert.)
DIRECTIONS:
1) Swap end caps: use two wrenches to unthread (anti-clockwise) existing end caps from axle. NOTE: It is not uncommon for only one side to break free and thread off, requiring the axle to be pulled out and secured in a soft jawed vise to remove the second cap.)
2) Thread CAMPESTRAL DT Swiss 240s 15mm End Caps caps on to axle.
3) Slide 12-15-TA Adapter into the 15mm hub.
4) Install wheel into fork as normal.
5) Install 12mm thru axle as normal.
NOTES:
- A thin layer of high quality grease on the outside of the adapter and the outside of the 12mm thru axle are recommended for ease of assembly and to provide an extra moisture barrier.
- Compatible with all 12mm x 100mm forks.
- Compatible with DT Swiss 240s 20x110mm Thru Axle Hubs #H240BDEXR32SA1788S hubs only; please note that the critical hub dimension is the OD of the end cap, which must be 20mm or smaller. Stock DT Swiss 240s 15x100mm end caps are 21mm OD.
- Thru axles provide compression of the fork ends where the hub end caps interface with the fork ends. Because all hubs and forks are manufactured by third parties to differing tolerances, to ensure an interference-free fit with all possible combinations the length of the CAMPESTRAL 12-15-TA Adapter is just under 100mm.
